Come sing, laugh, and make music with Aga Serugo-Lugo and the Together Create singing group! Join us in Grays, Thurrock, for a joyful morning of song as we prepare to perform together at the Afro Food Fest on Sunday, 10th August. All are welcome (children must attend with an adult). No experience needed- just bring your voice and your enthusiasm! 

Join the Mixed Up Chorus at their Highbury home for a free taster evening. In this fun and uplifting session you will have the opportunity to sing with the choir, meet Musical Director Jeremy Haneman and the team, chat with choir members and find out what MUC has in store for the Autumn Term. 

Founded in 2014, MUC unites audiences and singers through a love of music. The choir sings to bring together people of different beliefs, faiths, cultures and life experiences to promote understanding and empathy. The Sing for Freedom Choir is a community of torture survivors and friends who sing together in a spirit of joy and hope, in solidarity with all those who are oppressed. The choir sings for freedom and to give back a voice to those who have been silenced.

In this free taster session, taking place in the Community Centre at Christ Church Highbury in North London, our Musical Director Ellen Muriel will lead energising vocal warmups and beautiful new songs. You'll get a sense of the character of the choir, what the term has in store, and then you can decide if you would like to join as a member.

Join us for an autumn of creativity in Thurrock. Weekly sessions in singing, visual arts and textiles, creating exciting performances and artworks together.  These sessions are part of Together Create, which brings people from across Thurrock together to make art about the things they care about.
