Divya Satwani

Creative Communities Producer, London Choirs

Hello, I’m Divya (she/her). I’m a Producer, Artist, Facilitator, and Somatic Coach working at the intersection of arts, culture, and social change. My practice is rooted in care, creativity, and anti-oppressive, community-led approaches. I focus on creating spaces where marginalised voices are amplified, power is shared, and collective joy and agency can thrive.

With over 10 years working across arts, cultural, charity and events sectors, I’ve produced projects spanning community-led festivals and gallery exhibitions, youth leadership programmes, grant-making initiatives, touring theatre and dance productions, and creative campaigns with real impact. From winning the Pitch To The Mix Prize to securing multi-year funding from the Arts Council England Transforming Leadership Fund and the City of London’s Community Infrastructure Levy Fund, my work combines creativity with tangible outcomes. I’ve collaborated with organisations including artsdepot, Barbican Centre, London Museum,

Battersea Arts Centre, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Royal Academy of Dance, Apples & Snakes, Richmix, and more. I’ve spoken on panels, podcasts, and radio, including BBC Asian Network and BBC Radio London, sharing insights on creative leadership, inclusion, and community-led practice.

I’m committed to shaping democratic and participatory models in the cultural sector. I’ve developed the Barbican’s Imagine Fund and Leytonstone Loves Film Festival, and participated in leadership programmes with Clore Leadership and Sour Lemons. Previously, I was Co-Chair of the City of London’s Race and Ethnicity Network and a board member for the youth charity Together as One (formerly Aik Saath).

I bring an embodied, holistic approach to my work, drawing on my background in dance, somatics, and body-oriented coaching. I’ve worked with various individuals from neurodiverse and gender-diverse communities, brain injury survivors, refugees and asylum seekers, intergenerational groups, and SEN young people, supporting them through creative projects that strengthen wellbeing, nurture connection, and spark collective growth and joy. I hope to bring

empathy, kindness, and care to my work with Together Productions, while remaining open to learning and growing along the way.

At Together Productions, I’m committed to creating bold, values-led ways of working that are human-centred, sustainable, and rooted in solidarity with the communities we collaborate with.
